Just Ducky for Ducks of Hope
The Mechanicsburg North Rotary Club is organizing the Ducks of Hope fundraiser on July 18, 2009 to partially benefit New Hope Ministries. Adoption Certificates with valuable coupons are offered for sale for $5 each or 5 for $20. These Certificates are currently available for purchase at the Executive Office in Dillsburg, or you can call 432-2087 to reserve a large quantity to buy or sell. The duck race will take place on July 18 on the Yellow Breeches at Messiah College where the person whose Certificate number matches the winning duck will be awarded a travel voucher valued at $1,500 (winner need not be present to win)! Do You Know About New Hope's Capital Campaign?
New Hope is in the midst of a $500,000 capital campaign to raise funds for a new Mechanicsburg West Shore Center. Thus far, $415,000 of the $500,000 has been raised in cash and in-kind donations. Once we raise our goal, we will receive a $1 million grant, and move forward on a property to purchase and renovate as the new Mechanicsburg West Shore Center.
