What are you thankful for?
It’s the season of giving thanks, and one of our guests, Cynthia, wrote us this beautiful letter of gratitude:
“Nothing I say can truly describe how thankful I am for everything that has been done for me and my children. Since my husband passed away, it has been a big struggle for me not only financially, but spiritually too…. But I am so thankful for New Hope being there since day one. When I did not have food, New Hope gave me food. When I struggled with bills, I was also helped with that. And now that I wanted to further my education, New Hope has also helped me by providing me the materials and education to become a great Nurse Aide….New Hope Ministries has truly done the calling of God by helping others in need. But most of all, I am very thankful that they have helped me spiritually… I feel God has sent the wonderful staff at New Hope to provide for me and my children in the time of need. And for that I will forever be thankful.”
Cynthia’s life has been forever changed. You can Give HOPE to people just like Cynthia so they get the help they need today – whether with food, heat and utility assistance, reading programs for preschoolers, or job training like our Nurse Aide Classes. At New Hope, we show God’s love and compassion to each person who comes to us, but also provide hope for a better life.
This blessed Thanksgiving and Christmas season, would you prayerfully consider a gift to New Hope Ministries? Your generosity will help someone like Cynthia in a time of need so she can receive healthy food to feed her family, get an education to build a stable life, and be reminded of our Father’s love. Your support will change lives.
P.S. James 2:15-17 says it so well, “Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” Your support today will help ensure that nobody goes hungry or sleeps in the cold, and that they are well-fed spiritually – thank you!
