When Jesus’ mother Mary learned she would bear the Christ child, she celebrated in song, praising God for saving His people. At New Hope Ministries, we love the Christmas season! The decorations. Giving gifts. And most of all, celebrating the coming of God’s Son to save the world.

This is a time of year we’re at our busiest fighting the problems of hunger, poverty, homelessness, and despair. It’s so encouraging to read Mary’s words in the Luke Christmas story, “He has filled the hungry with good things (1:53).” Our work provides healthy food and help to those who are struggling. And hope to rebuild broken lives.

As we follow God’s plan to love our neighbors as ourselves, we depend on the generosity and kindness of people like you.
