For many of us, thinking about hungry children, families in crisis, the challenge of homelessness, or the relentlessness of poverty can stir feelings of sadness, or even helplessness.
Yet Jesus reminds us that love is not only something we feel, it’s something we live out.
Throughout Scripture, we see that service to the poor is close to God’s heart. And Hebrews 13:16 reminds us, “Do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”
